1918 Fox Portable No. 1

This Fox Portable No. 1 was manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1918. These folding portable typewriters set off a flurry of patent infringement litigation with the market-dominant Corona Typewriter Company, and the Fox Typewriter Company was forced to shutter in the early 1920s.
